On Saturday, 22nd February 2025, Chiswick will become the centre of brass music as it hosts the inaugural Chiswick Brass Festival, bringing together top ensembles and 

musicians for an unforgettable celebration of this powerful and versatile genre.

Masterclass with leading Industry Professional

Experience the brilliance of brass music, from smooth quintets to a full symphonic ensemble. The festival lineup includes award-winning ensembles and soloists, including Cor8, the Wigfield Brass Quintet, Funnybones Trombone Quartet and West London Tuba Quartet.

The festival shall culminate in a grand finale by a Symphonic Brass Ensemble, showcasing iconic masterpieces such as Fanfare for the Common Man, Spitfire Prelude and Fugue, and Howarth's stunning arrangement of Pictures at an Exhibition, along with many more breathtaking works!


 

Exclusive Public Masterclass with Lee Tsarmaklis

Go behind-the-scenes and dive deeper into the art of brass playing with an exclusive publis masterclass led by Lee Tsamaklis, the principal tuba player of over 24 years of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Lee shall be coaching talented players on stage, sharing tips, techniques and insights while the audience gets an inspiring behind-the-scenes look at how great music is made. A perfect opportunity for budding brass players, music lovers and the curious alike - all welcome!
